box office derby
this weekend is the official kick off of the summer season. typically that means movies make more, which means there is a greater margin for error, and we typically take advantage of that margin. our averages are gonna go way down. crappy movies will make lots of money. and katz will get made fun of. if marc can make it two weeks in a row, he may just pass me for the overall averages crown. i don't like that one bit. "kingdom of heaven" could go either way so we'll see on monday. place your bets and check back.

there they are. we had no takers from the outside world in participating this week. i understand. the game is a little intimidating and you might be thinking you want to observe a few to get an idea of who sucks (hint: aaron) and who is okay. check back monday for these results.

Again, I'm going with Marc this week as I believe the rest of you put too much money in the plate. The weather across the country is pretty damn awesome this week and the weekend should be the same. That said, you've got kids racing towards the end of their school year and I can't imagine there being too many make out sessions in Kingdom of Heaven (I will however predict at least one chick will be fingerbanged during a screening of House of Wax) Bravo to Marc, the only one with a clear head on his shoulders.
damnit. ripper and smokey were right again
We will never lose for only those who share a symbiotic connection will ever know the true box office figures. I, for one, attest that the reason for our domination is that Marc & I have always looked beyond the box office. Second year, together, we went out and saw Gosford Park and 40 Days & 40 Nights. In retrospect, the gayness was seeping out of the corners, but when we watched the fims and discussed them afterwards, our minds were alike.
Besides, Kingdom only brought in 20 mil. That's pretty shitty.
