what the hell happened here? the first week of may has been the traditional starting point of summer since 1996 when universal pictures boldly released "twister" two weeks before memorial day (the old starting point) in an attempt to get money before "mission: impossible" sucked it all up. the result was a phenomenal box office performance that outgrossed "mission: impossible" and everything else that year except "independence day". since then every may has kicked off with a blockbuster such as "gladiator", "x2", and "spider-man". this year we have the lowest grossing number 1 film for the summer kickoff weekend since "the crow" back in 1994, before it was considered summer. nobody is going to the movies. what if movies never make money again?

anyway, marc wins because he had the most pessimistic numbers. again.

MILLIONS OFF

1. Marc 27.7
2. Aaron 31.6
3. Chad 40.8
4. Brendan 43.1

WINS TO DATE

1. Marc 12

3. Aaron 8
4. Brendan 7

AVERAGES

1. Marc 24.9
2. Chad 25.1
3. Aaron 27.4

marc overtakes me in the averages, but i still don't think he is the best overall player. maybe numbers don't lie but i suspect they aren't telling the whole truth either.

First off, I'm a genius and you all know it. Second of all, I agree with Aaron Katz, Mindhunters is going to be the best movie ever. it has val kilmer. Anywho, i'll try and get some predictions in this week, but lets be honest, I'm more effective in the General Manager position, steering my winning horse to the goal post, wow, that's like five sports in one sentence. I rule. By the way, Chode, I was suckered into a test screening of Fan Four last night. My confidentiality agreement says i can't talk about it so i'll put one word out there, and you guys can do with it what you like: "Feces."
